Perhaps it was me, but the description for this item seemed a bit deceptive. That being said, I was able to find a use for this smaller planter.The construction is a bit "rough" (see pics) with some holes not being fully cut. However, I was able to get it built and filled with a mixture of flowers and sweet potatoes. It does not seem the items are growing that well compared even to others still in their seedling containers but we will find out.I do like the larger planter this came with but…

I added wheels which was the hardest part! The mfg will tell you not to add them, and theres prob some safety or liability reason, but to me its helpful and I'm an adult not worried about kids, etc. I got some expanding stem casters, since the legs are metal which would be hard to drill into, and had to add a small wooden shim inside next to each since the hollow legs are rectangular in shape. I was so excited to get this product. It came. I had just about finished putting it together when I couldn't get the plug (stops water coming out of the bottom of the planter) to go in. I looked and it had not been properly made and would never go into the opening (see plug picture). Then I went to put the cross supports for the box in and the slots were on the short sides and needed to be on the long sides. The planter was so simple to put together, and is just the right size for my deck. The only thing I found frustrating, and still do, is I could not find any video or instructions anywhere that indicated whether I had to put water in the bottom before adding the soil. I watched several youtube videos and non of them mentioned adding water before soil, except one ditzey lady that I couldn't trust. This thing is awesome. I got the black one to go with the color of my deck and its very cute. It has a nice wood grain look and its so well made and simple to put together and it has easy to understand instructions (no tools needed). Its also pretty sturdy. I'm using it to grow herbs outside that I plan to bring into my basement for the winter, so I can stop spending so much money on grocery store bunches of herbs I never fully use up. My plants are thriving. The garden center helped me choose just the right tomato plants for this planter. It was helpful that I could just open my Best Buy Ap and show her the size I had to work with.

My dog kept digging up my garden - so I needed something raised - but not difficult to manage or build. This worked perfect. And, again, it was so easy to assemble - this will be perfect in West Texas! If these plants begin to grow (I'm not the best at growing things), I may get at least one more of these. They are cool!I looked for Seller information - the drain plug did not come with it. Something else did - but not the plug. How can I make a swap of just that one piece with you?

It's great but to pricey.I found it at the half of price in The Home Depot. So disappointed only for this. The planter box may need to be moved frequently to prevent damage to the plants.

it's no surprise that every year I have a difficult time finding her a Mother's Day gift. This this year; however, I was tipped off by my aunt that she wanted a raised flower bed. This one went off all the boxes!

Its not large enough for things like most tomatoes but for small things like herbs, it works great.Assembly was easy, anybody can put this thing together.
