Will not work on older heavy gauge power cables!

These connectors work OK on typical 16 gauge wire used these days, except you have to split the wire down the middle which is a hassle. I like the older Portfolio screw tight connectors which connect both wires at the same time better, but those are quite expensive these days if you can find them at all. These do NOT work on the older heavy gauge (10-12 gauge?) D-shaped power lines typical of 15 year old installations like mine. The pricks cannot penetrate to the power and the twist connector…

Pros
  • Super security ,easy and fast work
Cons
  • They are not large enough to thread over #12 wire.

Works as advertised

My sidewalk lights have not worked correctly for months. You know the drill. Go out and press the connector to get it to come on and it’s out again before you make it the house. These were easy to install and immediately solved the connection problem! I love the screw mechanism as it was easy to make a secure connection. Would highly recommend.

Pros
  • Quick and easy
Cons
  • The connectors may produce a buzzing or humming sound, which can be annoying to some users

Best I have used good for me

These simplify installation of low voltage lighting, makes excellent connection without crimping and twisting, only change I would suggest would be to silicon caps that waterproof the connection, I bought a tube of silicon for this purpose. No big deal but it is an additional step that could be easily corrected and I would gladly pay more for

Pros
  • easy, quick and simple to repair low voltage connector problems. time saver for sure.
Cons
  • The connectors may be difficult to remove once they are installed, making repairs and replacements challenging

Easy to use and quick!

Nicely designed. Captures a single wire easily and makes for a secure solid connection that is reusable to boot! That's my review.

Pros
  • Great product that makes installation of landscape lights a snap for the novice.
Cons
  • The connectors may be prone to breaking or cracking over time, leading to a loss of power and functionality

Why nobody thought about it earlier?

Excellent invention allowing to connect each wire from the light separately instead of ridiculous clips that break after short time. Very easy to install on thicker wires just squeeze them before with pliers . I used some filler glue to weatherproof the top screws. Overall great experience and in our other house when install new lights will replace all of the connectors with this system.

Pros
  • Safe and ease to use. Very convenient and effective product.
Cons
  • The connectors may not be compatible with older outdoor lighting systems, requiring users to completely upgrade their system

Much Better than taps that come with landscaping lights.

These were very easy to install and make a very solid connection. The vampire taps thatCome with landscaping lights are harder to install and the connections are unreliable. These work much better,

Pros
  • These were a great item to repair my low voltage light connectors that kept coming apart.
Cons
  • The connectors may come loose over time, leading to a loss of power and reduced performance

They were what I needed.

I needed a couple for wiring the Doreio Flood lights to the power cord. I am happy to have the extra connectors incase some of the pinch together connectors, on other lights that I have, ever need to be replaced. They were pretty easy to work with.

Pros
  • Better than the clamp/pin type I've used. Just be careful splitting the cable wire. Very easy to use.
Cons
  • The connectors may be incompatible with certain types of outdoor wiring, causing a safety hazard

makes good connection

am using these to replace the weak connections many of my landscape lights have. easy to use except for kinda bulky. lights are a little brighter after replacing stock connection with these

Pros
  • Great value.
Cons
  • The connectors may be prone to rusting and corrosion, leading to a shorter lifespan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Expensive for what they are but Awesome product!

Easy install on larger gauge (thin) wire a bit tricky small gauge (thick) wire. I have used them for over a year, no defects noted - we have over 50 landscape lights. also have used them to repair/replace lights with other connectors as opposed to throwing them away.

Pros
  • Awesome product. This product should be OEM, from lighting company.
Cons
  • The connectors may cause the lighting system to flicker or produce uneven lighting

I liked that they werent yellow so they didn't stand out.

These worked well thus far. No rain so I cannot tell if the weatherproof has held up. They were relatively easy to install.

Pros
  • Worked as expected. Much easier than old style connectors.
Cons
  • They may not be suitable for homeowners who are not comfortable working with electricity

Very easy to use: my feedback

They are a bit bulky and stick up a bit. However, they are very easy to install. Just follow the instructions. Short cutting the process will not help one bit. They are working well thus far.

Pros
  • Run outdoor lighting or any low voltage wiring ths is a quick and simple connection with minimal tools.
Cons
  • The connectors are difficult to install for individuals who lack experience with electrical wiring

Works great and very easy to install.

Over the years I have tried every type of low voltage connector you can think of and regardless of the type or brand, they all were so-so at best. They all are either a bit cumbersome to install or don't puncture/connect well enough. I bought these to give it one more try for my low voltage outside lights. Wow, these are super easy to install and every one of them worked the first time. I was shocked and delighted. If they last as well as I hope, I'm buying more to keep on hand to use on the…

Pros
  • Easy to install. Works well, looks great.
Cons
  • The connectors may be too fragile to withstand accidental bumps or impacts

Makes low voltage lighting installation so much easier!

These are so easy to use. The only semi difficult step was separating the two copper lines in my extremely thick 12 gauge low voltage direct burial wiring right down the middle without exposing any copper. Once that was done, I was able quickly install 7 pairs of these. Its nice to not have to splice multiple wires and mess with gel filled wire caps that get your hands all messy. Also, you'll end up using significantly less electrical tape to cover connections. Great innovative product and they

Pros
  • Easy to install and works great!
Cons
  • They may not be suitable for use with all types of low voltage outdoor lighting fixtures, limiting their usefulness in certain applications

Super Easy good for me

nstaled on two older low-voltatge LED lights that had been flickering like mad. Easy to install and worked like magic. no more flickering, good solid connection. 100x better than old press-to-fit connectors.

Pros
  • Easy to install.....a Lille pricey though
Cons
  • The connectors may be too large for some lighting fixtures, forcing users to purchase additional components

Super easy to add lights now

These connectors feel much sturdier that the traditional clamps that come with light kits. Took a couple minutes to install, lights been working great.

Pros
  • These make the low voltage light install a breeze. Great product.
Cons
  • The connectors may pose a safety hazard when used in wet or damp environments

Best ever low voltage wire connector

I wish I had these 20 years ago. I have connected 100s of low voltage lights and connecting the light to the wire was always a real pain. These connectors make connecting lights so easy you can almost do it with your eyes closed. GREAT PRODUCT should get 10 stars.

Pros
  • The connectors where really easy to install and connected four lights in no time at all.
Cons
  • The connectors are not compatible with all types of low voltage landscape lighting systems

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great value for the price and easy to install.

The product was super easy to install. The first set took less than 5 minutes to install. I was replacing what was there before that I could not get to work anymore. You need 2 for every light, so make sure you know that when deciding how many to buy. If I need more, I will definitely buy the same.

Pros
  • Made wire connections very easy.
Cons
  • They may be too complex for novice users, requiring professional installation

They worked the first time

They absolutely worked. The outdoor lights given to us with only 2 bulbs working out of 6 lamps are all working beautifully now.

Pros
  • Best connectors I’ve ever used
Cons
  • The connectors may not provide a tight enough fit, leading to a loss of power and lighting performance

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Easy install connectors.

Great product. It made the install very easy. Better than connector that come with lamps. Only thing is that product says you can use for 12 gauge wire which you can but wire is very snug. Still works just not as easy to install. Might be better suited for 14 gauge.

Pros
  • Very to easy to install compared to other brands
Cons
  • They may be too expensive for consumers on a tight budget
