These are great if you have squirrels!

I ordered these because I have loads of squirrels around. They have eaten through the aluminum fence ties and I have had to replace them at least 4 times. Decided to try these and so far they are leaving them alone. Am hoping for good results.

Pros
  • They did what I expected them to do.
Cons
  • The pack size of 100 may be excessive for smaller fencing projects, resulting in wasted ties

The local "big box " hardware store where I purchased my .

The local "big box" hardware store where I purchased my chain link fence posts and fabric only carried aluminum fence ties.I wanted galvanized steel, these worked perfectly.and very well priced.thanks!

Pros
  • Met expectations
Cons
  • The ties may not be compatible with certain fencing materials, such as vinyl or wood, which could limit their usefulness in certain situations

Very light gauge material and very ductile

The product is good for very light weight fencing projects but is not the quality necessary to provide strong fencing projects

Pros
  • I had a problem with squirrels chewing the aluminum ones in two. I bet they won’t chew these!
Cons
  • Would be ok in soft soil...but they bent in my soil.

These are best used with the Larger "T " green fence posts

I had some significant difficulty using these with the smaller green fence posts (more of a U-shaped post) I had to re-bend these to use them but eventually they worked fine. However I would not do it again. However with the bigger heavier "T" posts and one of those cool tools (look for them on the internet) you can spin them right on.

Pros
  • these arrived quickly, thanks amazon prime. my husband installed them that day. worked perfectly!!
Cons
  • The steel material may rust over time and require ongoing maintenance to keep the fence looking its best

Steel not Aluminum on my review.

Putting up chain link fencing around our property. Went to Tractor supply and bought 2 packages of these but they turned out to be made of aluminum not steel. They broke trying to use them. These are great, dont buy aluminum. I would recommend these for securing your fencing.

Pros
  • As advertised.
Cons
  • The length of 6 1/2 inches may not be suitable for all fence types and sizes, limiting the versatility of this product
