High-Performance Fuel Pump for Cummins Onan Generator Welder (149-1544, 149-2187-01, 149-1982, 149-2187) Review

The vacuum pump was just what I needed. The new one was easy to install, I connected the hoses and my Onan welder motor ran from the first start. I was very happy with this part.

It is made of inferior material and decomposes in about a week. I had a few of them to get me out of my predicament, but they don't hold up. This is a quick short-term fix and that's about it.

Cheap current piece for me would cost $79. I put it on my Hobart Champion 16 and it's the wrong way around, the screw holes don't really line up so I'm just keeping one for now. The welder starts and works well now.

Perfect fit and solved my fuel economy problem. The gas tank was 18 inches above the carburetor. I thought that this pump is not needed and gave it up a while ago. This allowed me to use my little skid steer all the time.

Absolutely damn rubbish. The pump lost pressure in less than a day and on the second day the inlet fitting broke at idle. I would not recommend this product or this seller to anyone who needs reliable hardware, it just set me back another week. Don't rely on this seller if you depend on your hardware.
