Shoddily Made: my feedback

Will likely return this. Purchased it just a few months ago and almost all the feathers have fallen out using it for normal dusting.

Pros
  • As advertised. Good quality, but SMELLED TERRIBLE. I had to let it air out for more than a week.
Cons
  • SMALLER THAN I EXPECTED

Mama Chicken on my review.

This is pretty random, but I bought this to hang in the box with our baby chicks and I'm pretty sure they literally think it's their mother. They totally adore it. Can't tell you how is cleans, but it you're looking for a mama chicken stand-in, this is your gal! :)

This duster is HORRIBLE!

I just received, the two dusters I purchased, this week. The feathers started coming out of the duster, one by one, every time I tried to use it. I have included a picture of the loss of feathers from the duster. The picture shows just how many feathers have fallen out after only using it twice. It is unbelievable to me that a duster that costs this much could be so poorly designed. I would not suggest purchasing this product.

I loved it so much, I bought one for my office space

Sure, it doesn't hold the dust, but it gets it off the surfaces in a flash, and sometimes that is all that is needed. Our offices don't get dusted so I also bought one to have at work for the computer screen and desk area. We live in California with a house built in 1926 that still has original windows. We get LOTS of dust on a daily basis and if I had to take the time to dust with something that "grabs" the dust, I probably wouldn't take the time.

Cheap and low quality

What a piece of crap! I am a professional cleaner and the first time I used it it started to lose feathers no wonder there is no return policy I would not buy buyer beware it’s not a good product

Fell apart after one use

I love this feather duster at first. but after only using it 2 times the whole thing has fallen apart! I am sad because I loved it, it worked great. but not good quality. Would like a new one . will send back if need be .

Perfect for the delicates

It works like it should especially around the computer keyboard and tower. Super soft. The feathers don't brake off. It's also light weight easy to use. Thanks

Strong chemical scent

Whoooooo okay. I just got this feather duster to help with my cleaning, and I can't speak much for its cleaning abilities yet, but there is a very strong chemical scent lingering from whatever processes it took to extract these feathers from the poor, unwitting ostrich. It's been hanging outside on my balcony for about 24 hours now, and the scent still hasn't fully dissipated. I will update my review and rating once I get the chance to use this item.

Awful product! good for me

in the short time owning this I have spent more time picking up feathers that have fallen out of my duster than dusting. A complete waste of money.I believe I will be more careful and BUY AMERICAN!

beautiful duster! for my opinion

The duster is perfect for my needs. The feathers don't seem to fall out that easily which is good. You can cover a lot of surface area with one swish.

I was so thrilled to find the Sowder Ostrich feather duster was exactly what I wanted : Full, uniformly placed feathers and coloring and nicely shaped wooden handle. I love it ! I'm going to get a second one. Thank you for such a great shopping experience.

EASY PEASY CLEANING

I really do wish they had put more feathers in it, but gave it 5 stars, because it is good, and works well. Feather dusters are new to the younger generation, and they find it to be miraculous.

Buy elsewhere - my new review

I have my job that requires use of ostrich feather dusters, and I’ve never had ones that fall apart after dusting. literally the feathers sweep along the object you’re dusting and the feathers come off quite easily. the worst! I want to return but can’t! Not allowed!
