Good work. on sensors

I really like them I have one on a 99 F350, I have another on a 2000 F350. I love it for the transmission temp sensor. cheaper but I would buy one for all my trucks.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Some cons

Good quality just terrible mounting method

Overall it seems well made but the way you are supposed to mount it is a bit ridiculous. The sensor never got stuck and that's the only reason I gave it 3 stars.

  • Worth the money

Looks the same as the factory part but has a fountain reservoir

I have color matched it with plastic leather vinyl car interior paint and it looks factory like. I'm going to put a Snow Boost Cooler controller/display in it. Hopefully this will allow me to add photos when I'm done.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Some small things

Good but not BIG!

This is a great addition to your steering column when your A-pillar is full. The fit is good, the finish is good, you need to use a DREMEL to avoid cracking/contacting the thermal shifter. *(DEPENDING ON YOUR STEERING COLUMN POSITION). Aside from being expensive, it's a nice piece of decorative plastic. What do you want?

Pros
  • Great for me

  • Can I add something

Good solution for a gauge

Just had to trim the gauge hole a bit to fit my 2005 field trip. It fits nice and snug with no tape or attachment, but I'll probably use some tape to be sure. With the steering wheel fully tilted, the shifter will touch the top of the shift hole when parked. It's also easy to cut with a Dremel or X-Acto knife. Luckily my wheel and pillar are black so I don't have to paint them. The sensor only blocks the center of the tachometer and the far right side of the PRNDL gauge. With him I can see…

Goes well with 04 F250

This product goes well with my 04 F250 pillar. The kill switch is a little harder to use, but not too much. I had to remove some trim on the back where the wire cutout is, but that's not too bad. Wand sensors are not shaded. Haven't tried painting/painting to match the gray interior yet because black doesn't look out of place. So far the gauge has fitted well, hasn't fallen out or twisted.

Pros
  • lighting and electrical
Cons
  • old

Perfect for Colum though.

So it fits like a glove. Looks great and probably didn't need any brackets to hold it in place. The problem is with the meter. This module and gauge are made by my autometer, but when you connect the hose to the back of the gauge it doesn't go all the way into the module. The small adapter/compression hose fitting is bent at the back of the pod. Looks like this will become a bug point in the future. As a result, there is a star deduction.

The ideal solution for installing a pressure gauge!

I installed an aftermarket fuel gauge on my 07 F350 and wanted to be able to constantly monitor the fuel pressure, but every gauge I found required drilling a hole in the A-pillar (which I didn't want to do). I didn't want a gauge hanging from my A-pillar for everyone to see and maybe have sticky fingers) or it was an ugly A-pillar replacement that didn't match the interior. It could be attached to my steering column with 3 meter tape and hid the pressure gauge from the prying eyes of…

Pros
  • Gauges
Cons
  • No paint required
