Description of 17.3" Laptop DELL XPS 17 9700 3840x2400, Intel Core i7 10750H 2.6 GHz, RAM 16 GB, SSD 1 TB, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti, Windows 10 Pro, 9700-6710, silver
- Gorgeous (17") 4K display with ultra-thin bezels and a glossy finish. - Loud and excellent audio. - The most advanced hardware that can be upgraded, including two slots for RAM and an M2 SSD. - 4 Thunderbolt 3 ports, each of which may be utilized to connect any peripherals as well as charge devices. - A spacious touchpad and a comfortable keyboard. Vapor Chamber - ated cooling system. The coolers are completely silent when operating in low load mode, which includes online browsing, working with papers, etc. Even though it generates quite a bit of noise when running demanding programs or games, it doesn't overheat or lag. I don't play often, but the most recent NFS at high graphics settings and an external 4K display uses 65% of the CPU and 50% of the GPU and generates about 55–60 frames per second. - Strict layout. There is no creaking or backlash due to the metal case and excellent workmanship. - The ability to authenticate with Windows Hello or a fingerprint scanner.
- - The so-called "unobtrusive mode," which was present in earlier XPS models and allowed users to turn off the display, speakers, and keyboard backlight by pressing the Fn + F7 key combination, is no longer present. Otherwise, the PC functions normally. It is especially useful when, for instance, you want to avoid being distracted while watching a movie on an external monitor and want to turn off the "burning" laptop screen. - There is just Modern (Connected) Stand by S0, not the standard sleep mode (Stand by S3). Hibernation is the only alternative to shutting down, and while it will save any active windows, data, etc., the exit time is similar to that of fully turning on. - The white is a little bit more yellowish and the screen brightness is a little bit lower than the XPS 15 7590 (2022) model.
- screen, design
- Photoshop should not be purchased by someone who already has it.
- The laptop has a great monitor and is the same size as my previous 15" Macbook, so it fits in all of my backpacks. Even though the sun is shining straight on the monitor through the window, the brightness is good. Superb metal case that is both bend- and crackle-free. The touchscreen is cozy. Because there are sockets in various locations from various sides, there is a charger available in any of the ports, which is quite useful. Superb mics, for instance, allowed me to communicate using Discord without the need for an extra headset because only I was audible to my interlocutors.
- The laptop does lose power when it is under a lot of stress; as I was playing Tom Clancy's The Division, I observed that the battery indicator lit up after a while. Sound issues - occasionally, when any brief Windows notifications play, there is a "hoarseness" to the sound. The issue with keyboard and monitor contamination is that key prints will stay on the monitor if you don't regularly wash them down. Opening the lid is difficult because there is nothing to grab onto.
