It’s decent. I didn’t find mine shedded terribly. It was fine with heated tools, I’m giving 4 stars for the simple fact that the way the hair was sewn it’s almost impossible to alter the part. I can’t do anything with the front on the hair because the hair just wants to fall right back into position which it just lays infront of the face. I also try to comb it all backward, say for instance, into a pony and the hair will still seperate into the part. It’s so stiff.

I’m a cosmetologist and I bought this to practice foiling techniques. I unboxed it and the hair immediately started shedding. It sheds horribly. EVERYTIME you run your fingers through, 3-4 strands come out.Also for ppl that were asking about the part line, it’s more of a side part. The had the hair swirl almost like a giant cowlick at the top crown of the mannequin head. The hair doesn’t lay nicely like a real person’s head. I needed to practice up-do’s but the hair on this head is too thin. Scalp is visible and hair is hard to grip and hide the pins. I ended up returning it. There were no problems with my refund.

Haven’t colored yet but seems to be worth the price so far. The cost of the product is high compared to other mannequin heads on the market. She’s a little thin on one side but so are some people lol
