I have a fool! Interior

I bought this for my Ford Ranger and it was easy to program. It worked for a month and stopped, so I went to AutoZone to get a battery. It worked for a couple of weeks and then stopped completely! My return window has expired. waste of money!

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Expensive

Don't stay programmed.

I bought these for 2 different cars and found them very reasonably priced. The problem is that they don't stay programmed. After resetting them the third time, I just threw them in the drawer. The previous ones, more expensive but otherwise seemingly identical, stayed programmed for years. They only stay programmed for 2-3 days.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Reliability

Worked perfectly on a 2006 F150.

Super easy to install and works great! Here's how I programmed for a 2006 Ford F150: 1) Put the key in the ignition and turn from 3 (center) to 4 (on) - the dash lights come on 8 times, leaving the key in position 4 (on) for the 8th. Round. 2) Doors with locking/unlocking in programming mode. 3) Press any button on the transmitter and the doors should lock. 4) Done! That's all!

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not the best

Shipper shipped well and I received the remote controls quickly. These remotes were easy to program and they work, but not very well. I have to press the lock or unlock button multiple times before they work. They are both very slow at best. I will look for another set of them because I need the lock/unlock to be faster than them.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Easily repairable
