Happy with the price and quality of materials. They allow for stacking or simply lifting from below if you wish. They're semi-flexible so be careful not to put too much weight on them as they're not designed to carry a lot of weight unless there are cans underneath. Other than that, this is a very good buy.

I have read that some of them are very thin but this set is not. I replaced the grate in my old pressure cooker because it was starting to rust. They fit perfectly and look nice and shiny. I would recommend using them with the raised edge down to lift the center off the bottom of the pot. They're strong enough to hold nine 8-ounce cans without straining or bending over.

The canning racks arrived on time and I was happy to use them last week when I canned 25 liter pears from our backyard tree. I used a handmade double round washcloth like my mom used to do before me. They were a lot easier to use and I'm glad I have them for future canning needs. My mother grew up during the Great Depression and her mother kept everything from her garden as my mother kept hers. They used everything they could at the time. Of course, if they were both alive to use them now!

Two issues: one of these was damaged/creased on the outside edges which was not caused by delivery - the box is in perfect condition so they were creased prior to shipment . See photo. Another issue is the design: neither side of the shelf is flat enough to adequately support the cans. When I place the racks in the tin can "finished" side up, the outer raised portion of the rack tilts the outer circular row of cans towards the center so the cans don't sit flat.
