OK if you own a Dremel.

.as the rounded 'tabs' around the sockets prevent the adaptor from lying flush when folded, so making for very insecure contact in some sockets. They can be cut off, making the product.well, okay.UPDATE- just noticed that the picture doesn't show the rounded bits - so there seems to be more than one style.

Pros
  • It would be an even better product if the prongs fully retracted or folded.
Cons
  • Bulky design

Need to make an outlet just a bit more flexable

My wall outlet was just a bit in the wrong position so that my motion sensor nightlight would not triggers. This outlet did the job perfectly.

Pros
  • Tools & Home Improvement
Cons
  • May be hard to reach behind furniture

Very Versatile good for me

I bought a couple of these. The ability to bend in various directions, while being thin is a great advantage in many situations. I use one for travel where sometimes outlets in hotels are difficult to use, and another at home where a piece of furniture needs to sit close to a wall but covers an outlet I want to use. This allows me to use the outlet while it lays flat against the wall.

Pros
  • The adapter's small size makes it great for travel, allowing you to bring it with you on the go
Cons
  • May be prone to short-circuits

Disappointed - my new review

I needed this adaptor because the only "switched" outlet, (where a wall switch activates it) is between my mattress/boxspring and the wall. A normal straight-in lamp plug was being squished. But this one is VERY loose in the socket, and kept the lamp blinking when I'm in bed. I tried squeezing the prongs together to tighten it in the socket, but that didn't work. The lamp plug I use fits that socket tight and securely, so it's not the socket itself to blame. I am returning it. Otherwise it…

Pros
  • The white color is easy to spot, making it simple to find when needed
Cons
  • May produce a humming noise

I like how thin this wall adapter is. It allowed me to plug in the power supply for our revain FireStick Lite behind our TV and not stick straight out of the wall. This allowed me to keep the TV closer to the wall. I would recommend it to anyone looking to do the same.

Pros
  • The adapter is safe for use with most household appliances
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all types of plugs

Such a good outlet expander. Sleek and very useful.

I want to put these all over my house now. It's so nice that it folds to the side and keeps the plugs from sticking out too far. Great for outlets that need additional receptacles and out in the open.

Pros
  • The adapter is easy to use with a variety of plugs, making it versatile
Cons
  • May not be suitable for high-traffic areas

Ok product - my new review

So this outlet extender won’t stay flat against outlet because there are two plastic pieces that aren’t the correct size for a standard outlet (see pic) so metal plug blades won’t go into outlet holes all the way. This makes it so I can’t flip extender up in a tighter space, which is the whole point of ordering this product

Pros
  • This is just what I needed for the narrow/shallow space I had.
Cons
  • Prongs may be too wide or narrow for some sockets

Flanges get in the way of a flush position

The female outlets are snug but not too tight. The male prongs fit very loosely. I bought this to be behind furniture and have the furniture closer to the wall. While it is an improvement, it can't go fully flush against the wall as the furniture pushes on the flanges that stick out and then the plug comes just far enough out to lose power.

Pros
  • The 2-pack ensures you always have a backup adapter handy
Cons
  • May be prone to sparking

I use for decorations

I got these for my strings of Halloween lights (ungrounded). Way more compact that a surge protector so it doesn't detract from the design (decorated a trailer/float).

Pros
  • The ungrounded feature of the adapter allows for flexible use with a variety of appliances
Cons
  • May not last very long
