So Far So Good on my review.

Was a bit anxious about this after reading reviews about leaks, but it installed easily and dryly. The flavor is ok for a two-stage system. Not as good as the four-element RO systemninleft behind, but flow rate is more consistent, so a fair compromise. Will see how it does re: leaks after the first filter change.

Pros
  • ‎No
Cons
  • May take up valuable under sink storage space

Good for our new well

we had a level of 2 ppb of lead in our new well. It was easy to install the filter under the sink in the kitchen and give us time to replace our old copper pipes.

Pros
  • Super easy to install, makes life easier when refilling water bottles, looks sleek and hidden away.
Cons
  • May not fit under all kitchen sinks

Don't listen to the NEGATIVE

I'm 63 and a women and I just installed my Aquasana tonight. It took me about 10 minutes at best. I changed from an Osmosis system that cost me about $400 a year plus to maintain. I don't know what the hell people are talking about when they complain about the slow flow? It has the same speed of flow as my osmosis system did and the same rate of flow as a refridge water dispenser flow. It filled a 3 gal water bottle FAST. again, same rate of speed as my osmosis system did. PEOPLE. it's not a…

Gaskets may need adjusting out of box

First day of install it seemed ok until water started pouring out from under my sink. The gaskets weren't totally sealing. after rolling them around a little they were fine and I've had no leaks for months since then. As for filtration. I have hard water with rust. Doesn't eliminate the awful taste of my water but it is an improvement from the tap. Still looking for a better filter.

Pros
  • Compact design doesn't take up too much space under your sink
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all water pressure levels

So easy to install on my review.

Instructions great. Easy to install-no previous skills necessary. Everything included… and water tastes so much nicer than. Good ol tap water. Gets rid of lead and other nasties.

Pros
  • ‎5 pounds
Cons
  • May not remove all unpleasant tastes and odors

Not for arthritic hands

I had my plumber install so it wasn’t until I tried to replace the filters for the first time that I learned how hard it is. I have arthritis in my hands and crawling under the sink is no longer easy. I’m stuck trying to remove the old filter. Not supposed to use tools but how do I loosen it if my hands don’t have a strong grip. Not recommended to people with arthritis.

Pros
  • Environmentally-friendly and reduces plastic waste as you no longer need to purchase bottled water
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with all types of faucets

Yay for Clean Water!

I live in a town where the tapwater tastes absolutely terrible and sometimes discolored. I have tried sink filters, fridge filters and pitcher filters. They all resulted in water that didn’t taste great. However, the water from this filter is perfect. Installation was fairly easy although if you do not get the tube completely into the opening (even if you think you did you may not have) it will result in a leak. Unfortunately, this caused some damage in our house. Water pressure is slow, but I…

Pros
  • Effective in removing up to 99% of chlorine and other harsh chemicals
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in all climates

nice until o-ring failed and water went all over the floor

Easy to install and change out filters. Good product for a year and a half. Unfortunately, we changed the filters recently and no matter how tight we tightened them they were leaking. Lucky we caught it before too much water leaked out, but yeah wouldn't recommend because of that.

Pros
  • Claryum Filtration - Removes impurities while selectively retaining healthy minerals, including calcium, potassium and magnesium for the healthiest drinking water.
Cons
  • May not fit into all existing plumbing configurations
