200-Pack Food Grade Oxygen Absorber Packets By O2Frepak For Improved Jerky Quality And Long-Term Food Preservation Review

Since this is my first time using this product, I could have used some instructions for use and storage. I left them in the opened bag they came in and today.all of them were activated and warm with moisture beads inside the bag. Since I don't know anything about this, I am assuming they won't last long now and/or are useless. So.I'll try something else. Instructions for use and storage for those of us who are trying something new would be appreciated.

Product did not appear to be the right size for the 2000CC label capabilities. The 1000CC O2 absorbers were 4X this size. I didn't take a chance. I returned the items. I wish I could have selected no stars.

I bought these for long term food storage (rice, beans, grains). They seem to be working just fine. I guess I won't really know until I open something up in a few years.

I bought these for use in my dry sealing. I haven't used these before so I am hoping that they work the way I think they will.

These things are ridiculously small, and the stated volume is the sum total for THE ENTIRE BAG. This is plainly dishonest, as other manufacturers list their sizes by the pack size and sell a pack of 100x500CC packs for what this company charges for a TOTAL of 500CC. You need about 300-500CC per gallon of food you are storing, so even if you buy the largest package, you will still need 3-4 individual packs per gallon, at a cost of over $3 per gallon. I can buy 500CC packets from a USA company…

out of the entire package I managed to get 3 to vacuum. I had all of the bags filled and ready to seal. I opened the oxygen package bag threw 2-3 in each 1 gallon bag sealed them all up with in a couple minutes. but only 3 out of 10 bags actually vacuumed. Do not buy

I was extremely disappointed by these absorbers. I made sure to have everything ready to stick them into the mylar and immediately seal them up. They were not exposed to oxygen outside of the sealed bag for more than a minute yet only 2 of my bags ended up with the oxygen absorbed. Having to buy different absorbers and Repackage all of these is also a time issue that costs more than just money.

These arrived in a sealed package, the indicator was a dark gray and I didn't notice it until the package was already opened, the indicator package was mixed in with the oxygen absorbers so I couldn't see it without opening the package. I proceeded to package my dry goods into 1 quart mylar bags, 12 hours later and the bags haven't shrunken at all.

The product is fine but the shipping of over $6.00 for a $14. Item that could be mailed out in a business envelope sees a a bit unnecessary and excessive.

Whatever these are packed with - it's garbage. Normally when a O2 absorber does it's job the absorber packages should get rocky inside, you should be able to feel the difference between an unused packet, which will feel like it has flour in it, and a used pack - which should feel like it has little rocks in it. These don't absorb anything. I have had to repack multiple bags with new absorbers. For example: If you put rotini in a 1 gallon bag, and put a 1000cc absorber in it pushing any extra…

Good size and appears to be working great for my bulk food storage. It was the first time I have bought any and was surprised that when exposed to oxygen, they actually heat up so its important to re-vacuum seal when you take a few out.
