No OEM quality. for anti-theft

The buttons will wear out after a few months. The unlock button is gone. The remote control does not work intermittently, even with a new battery, no matter how close. I checked the replacement remote and the car unlocked immediately.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Will be added later

Great offer; mine was not self programming

I am happy with my purchase and how much money it saved me! The battery worked as advertised. I couldn't program the remote control myself. A guy at a car dealership had to hook it up to his computer before it worked. Autoplay doesn't work.

Pros
  • great product

Labeling wears off quickly

A common OEM problem is frayed conductive pads on the back of the keys. I put the original OEM board in a new case - it worked right away. No programming required! But the inscriptions on the buttons of these fakes will be erased in 6 months.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Fits

They look and feel just like the original

I was hesitant to try it knowing these things are exponentially more expensive elsewhere. I bought 2. They look just like the original. Brilliant. The seller wanted $150 for one. I bought 2 remote controls and paid a locksmith to program them; the total is $110.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Damaged

Love it in winter

I've had it for a month now. No problem. The local mechanic was able to program it in 10 minutes. Has a long range. Edit: 08/18/2016: I haven't had any problems so far and it's been over 6 months now. For those who said it didn't take long, can you treat them better? No idea.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price

Cobalt 2010 - works great

Took it to the dealer to have it programmed for $40 after tax. Coming from an old truck with no electric locks, I had to learn its function. Lock - locks all doors, Unlock - one press opens driver's doors, double press unlocks all doors - hold the suction cup! Headlight (to find your car in parking lot), holding button starts full alarm police chase mode

Pros
  • Robust surface
Cons
  • The list goes on.

DEFECTIVE ITEM - DO NOT BUY

I bought 2 Chevy Malibu Maxx Keyless Entry in October 2016 and programmed them from the dealer for $100. Less than 3 months later the product stopped working. I've been told that aftermarket products are not a good buy because they have an 80% failure rate. Unfortunately I didn't know this before I bought it and now my money is gone and I'm stuck with a useless product. Don't do what I did, it's not worth it in the short term. Go ahead and pay the higher amount. At least she has the best…

Pros
  • Very Good Price
Cons
  • Useless Features
