Works as expected, good for interior

Works for what I needed. The only downside is that you have to take it to a locksmith to have it programmed. But not enough reason to affect the rating.

Difficult to program

Difficult to program. Tried internet instructions, had to take it to 2 dealers who didn't program it because I didn't buy it there. Finally found a locksmith who had coding issues.

moving guts best in keyless entry systems

this solved my problem immediately. I transferred the guts from the broken remote to this case and had no problems so ordered another one but couldn't get the guts of the original remote to transfer but it still saved us a lot of hassle and money.

I put the guts of the original remote in it and it works like a charm

I bought this for my daughters 2007 Pontiac one remote didn't work. Instead of programming these I plugged in the insides of the original remote and it works like a charm. It was the outer shell that interfered with the original's work. That works great!

More attention to detail

Sorry but I ordered the correct year/make and model keys for my car and spent $19 on a service call from a locksmith to get out . He couldn't get it to work. So I had to go to my dealer and have it done. Unfortunately, neither could they. I ended up buying an OEM FOB and the dealer programmed it for me for $246. I called Best Keys and they asked for a part number, they said it was the wrong part number for my car. Their customer service rep was nice and helpful BUT if they did their job right…

5 Months Later - Interior

Key fob came in the mail very quickly! Took it to the salon for programming. but I bought it in November 2015 and it's March 2016 and it's falling apart. I don't drop it that hard, and even if I do, it shouldn't crack as hard as this one. It's torn at the edges and the inside falls out every day. I have to hold it a certain way to keep the piece in! I'm not sure if it's because of the cheaper quality than the dealer but I need a new one. I'm considering going the cheap route and ordering online
