Rusted in a month Good for nuts and accessories

Bought these for my friend's car and they are rusting in a month already. Edit: I got a quick response from the seller about the problem and solution. Customer service was great! If only other providers could be so proud of this area.

Rusted almost immediately

Installed Monday, rusted ThursdayEdit - the seller refunded me and asked me to update/delete this review after at least 10 separate emails. After removing the nuts and seeing how ruined they were I thought I should update it with a photo of one of my twisted nuts. Don't buy this!

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Rusted within a month. Save your money$$

They started rusting in just over a month. I contacted the manufacturer and they said they rust from being outside in bad weather. I'm not kidding, are they on my truck? They offered me $6 for my troubles. Obviously they don't endorse their product. UPDATE: - They contacted me and gave me a full refund. I just had to hold her.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Hard to tell

This quality is usually twice as expensive.

Shipped for $25. The quality was 100%. Stop reading garbage reviews. All lug nuts, especially if they use impact nuts, will damage the finish and eventually rust a bit. You won't find a better set for $25. If you have an older f150 with 14x2.0 lug size don't buy these, they are 14x1.5. Worked great for my application. 2017 f150.

Looks great, very cheap price.

Bought for use on my 97 K1500. Used on some old GM rims and thought they wouldn't be too noticeable. Looks great, thank you for wearing this product. There is also hard steel + anodizing, no "plug". I hope being in the Midwest doesn't make them any worse. But it's cheap enough, if they do I don't care. Except. Ring nuts are consumables for the automotive sector.

Rust will show up in less than a week.

I had high hopes for nuts. I wanted the added security they would provide. I have no problem getting them to work as intended (keeping my wheels in place). However, what doesn't make me happy is the fact that they've been on my truck for less than a week and are already rusting. The paint that is applied to it is of poor quality. I don't normally leave negative reviews, but I wanted others to know what will ultimately happen when they are purchased.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Weight

They will fit smaller diameter aftermarket rims than the original rims

These new lug nuts have been on my truck for a while and they seem great. The tool or wrench used to install them has some wear after installation. The key is to persevere, I would say at least 3 to 6 sets I think. That's why you get two keys. Definitely worth your money. Also, I had to get this style or a similar one to fit the aftermarket rims. But they fit and work, they are black and the paint is still in good condition after removal.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Nothing here

I would pick up the dump and clap my hands before using it again

This product can turn a 20 minute job into an hour. The 13/16 head fits like garbage and scratches the finish. Sticking the nest in to get a good bite is like fighting a bear to get the nest from the Lugnuts and now the log now looks like trash. I'd rather pick up a dump and clap than recommend these Lugnuts or reuse them. Of course I bought them after changing tires and they sat in the crate for months before using them. Now I can't get her back.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Minor issues

2019 Dodge Challenger R/T

Arrived quickly, shipped same day, just the right price - better value for the dollar I think. I haven't had any issues with rust spots or rounded corners. Protrusions that others have indicated they don't have yet. However, I did notice that one of the wrenches that came with it was a little looser on the clamp nut than the other. I decided to use a wrench with a tighter fit on the lugs. More importantly, I would strongly advise against using an impact wrench on them. Hand tightening is key to
