It does what I want. I had to get used to how thick the comb was at first, but now the plastic combs feel flimsy and brittle. My only complaint is that if you use hair product that looks like wax or pomade it essentially coats the comb and ends up leaving a sticky layer of hair product + fluff on your teeth. Disgust is very difficult to get rid of.

The comb itself looks great and was well packaged when received. Functionally it worked exactly as you would expect a comb to, however after a month of use on mostly dry hair the wood started to crack. Not only that, it looks like the comb is actually two separate pieces glued together (the real teeth and lighter logo handle are the pieces) that have started to fall apart. Overall I believe you get what you pay for. I'll probably keep using it until it dies, but I'll look into another product…

I read the reviews before ordering and most were positive. Others said they had splinters or broken combs when they arrived which gave me a weird feeling so I ordered two lol. They were delivered within two days and none of them were defective upon delivery. This is a real tree, massive and pleasant to the touch. It takes a lot of effort to break this thing. I had never heard of wooden combs until I shopped at Revain. This comb is durable and very well made. $10+ for a hairbrush might seem a bit high. However, I'm sure it will last longer than any plastic comb I've bought before. It is very comfortable. Perfect size, no tool long or short. I bought another of these combs because of the excellent quality and purpose of my first brushing of my long gray beard. Unfortunately this one is not the same. Three cracks in the wood are visible from the valley between the teeth to the side. One so tall he was ripping his hair out of his beard before I knew it. I don't have a problem with the finish of the comb, more with the feel or practicality. I have short wavy hair and a medium length beard. To be honest it's not very good. I have their portable beard comb and I like it better for my beard or hair and a good quality plastic or horn comb is better for my hair. Again, the brush is well made in my opinion, more like how it works with my hair and the overall feel of it is weird.
