This is the third gate I've tried. With all previous gates, the door was too large without the addition of extensions, but the extensions were so large that once added, the gate would not fit the door. This one has extension cords but they are separate. Instead of one big extension, it has two small ones that can be used separately. Perfect

I used a non-swinging pressure gate last year and it just feels like a brand new ball game. I can get through without tearing down the gate! The door opens and closes, which is convenient. Very easy to open with one hand. And it was easy to set up. Also, I was looking for something that would be transparent without the bars. This one has strips at the end for expansion but I'm quite happy with it as I can see through the mesh.

We use this gate to keep the bedroom door open (to normalize the air temperature) and to keep the dog out when we're not around. For this purpose it works great. The door feels pretty solid, the locking mechanism is smooth and secure, and we love the fact that there aren't large gaps between the bars for our little chihuahua to snag his head in. I use this gate to keep dogs out of the kitchen while I'm cooking or cleaning. They couldn't tear them down or open them like the other gates I had. The door latches securely and the handle opens easily. It's easy to install, but it's better to set everything up properly with two people. It was easy to install, we found we didn't even have to drill the plastic "cups" in the door frame, the tension in the rods and silicone "feet" was adequate for our purpose . I have two dogs, a 75lb adult and a 3 month old puppy, neither of them can hurt or go through this gate. It looks better than metal mesh rather than rods and I find it easy to open and close. It "holds" open when fully open with a spring-loaded action in either direction, and locks into place when you push and close. just…
