Simple and works perfectly. Unfortunately, I bought a car with one of these air intakes. The filter was wasted, it popped right up.

was damn hard to put on the pipe even though i used a slightly oversized filter, the pipe was 2.75 this filter inlet was 3 inches it was like getting into something more fighting an alligator for 2 hours didn't give up, obviously not a 3" intake manifold. then it sat in the engine bay for about 4 weeks before it suddenly started cracking, scraps of paper fell everywhere and i was afraid of swallowing some of them, that kind of poor quality happens a lot lately.

Definitely a cheap filter. You can tell by the design. But all in all it looks good and works perfectly. Could be better, but since it's so cheap, 4 stars.

I bought a cold air intake system for my Wrangler which I use off road a lot. Constant contact with dirt, dust and moisture led to rapid wear of the original filter (along with leakage of brake fluid). I quickly realized that replacing this filter was quite expensive and looked for cheaper options. I chose it because of the design, the filter properties, the ease of cleaning and the price. These filters are much easier to replace after installation than the standard filters. Open the box and cut the back of your hand lol. They're easy to replace, but cleaning up is a bucket of hot water and dish soap. Then dry and lightly oil again. I use K&N Red Oil Spray. Then let it dry and reinstall.
