3M 06039 Finesse Marine Compound Review

At least 13 years of experience. Easy to use. A little messy, you'll get a little messy, but I guarantee you'll love the results.

I have tried auto gelcoat repair pastes on my boat but the results have not been satisfactory. I have used 3m Finesse it Marine and I never look back. If you want a nice shine, spend a few bucks more and use 3M paste.

1200 Grit "Wet” compound is abrasive enough to remove heavy oxidation from gelcoat. However, it levels out minor imperfections quite well and leaves a beautiful finish that only requires a light final polish to achieve a deep shine.

Unfortunately when the box was opened the glass was dented and the handle was broken off. The product description says the product is white, when in fact it is yellowish-brown. Doesn't work as advertised - not aggressive at all, which is what you need on an old, faded gelcoat

I chose this product after speaking to a professional boat service at our Yacht Club. I thought my boat, a 1984 sailboat, would be the perfect project to try.
