3M 3M 27747 Deburring High Strength Abrasive Review

I used this to remove clear coat and restore some slightly corroded aluminum parts. It works very well and gives a nice satin finish. However, it wears out relatively quickly and leaves blurred edges. In general, the disc is good.

Wanted to polish some aluminum motorcycle parts. I cleaned them with a brass disc on a grinder. It only took a few minutes for one of them to explode into pieces. Added the same. Maybe the speed of the mill is too high for you.

It has worked for what I needed but not as durable as I expected and what I am used to. Highly recommend using this with a coffee grinder that has a finger trigger and NOT a paddle trigger on the side. If you "run" the RPM, it will last longer. These are very weak wheels and in my opinion they should be three times as strong.

For the price they work exactly as expected. I would compare them to 4-500 grit sandpaper for roughness/scratches. They are NOT durable, especially if you try to use them for sanding. But if you use them as a "semi-final" step before moving on to compound/cotton circles, they work quite well.
