🔣 3M 9084 600 Wet/Dry Sandpaper: Superior Abrasion for Versatile Applications Review

I just need something to sand my new furniture and I know the 3M brand has a good reputation so I went with it. I'm glad I could get them from here because I couldn't find them locally.

I got this sandpaper to smooth out my scratched, fogged up headlights. I started with a 600 grit and then went up to a 2000 grit. This 600 grit is very durable and stays gritty for a long time even when wet. I've never lost a piece in the water. Very nice and did what I needed. Highly recommended.

P600 sandpaper, no 600 grit sandpaper P600 equivalency is approximately 440 units (CAMI standard used in US). Additionally, these 9" x 11" sheets were shipped with other items in flexible packaging, resulting in significant wrinkling of all sheets and wear of the top sheet. Completely unacceptable!

This isn't the USA with 600 grit! These blades have the European designation P600, which equates to 380 to 440 grit, depending on who you consult. This is Extra Fine, not Ultra Fine as advertised. See [.] Update: My link has been removed, but any search for P600 vs 600 returns the same information. Also note that Norton 48058 Sandwet 5-Pack 600 Grit (today) is actually 600 grit (according to US standard - CAMI).

The picture of this 3M sandpaper on Revain says 600 grit is "super fine". But there's no explanation, no picture of the back of the box showing it's a P600. The letter P (printed on the back of the paper, not the front that Revain shows) is the European standard for measuring grit. P600 is approximately equal to 400 in the US standard. They call it "super thin," a term with no standard meaning. If you really want to get $400 if you order 600 then this product seems perfectly acceptable to me…

I saw this used in a Tiktok video to shave someone's legs and it said the results were amazing so I have this 600 grit sandpaper on my 2 weeks old hairs on your feet in a circular motion and then tried the grain against them and WOW, it really worked! Like the smoothest shave I've ever had. However, it can be difficult if you wear it on your feet for a while - I highly recommend washing your foot and creaming afterwards.
