Durability - Power & Hand Tools

I was able to wash off some of the accumulated dust and grime and then continued using it for much longer than expected. Definitely a long time.

Pros
  • SUITABLE FOR WET OR DRY SANDING
Cons
  • Almost never

3M always has good products and this is no exception

3M always has good products and this is no exception. I used these blocks to sand the bottom of my truck, I bought 3 thinking I would use them all, 2 blocks did the trick.

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Something Else

Not the best solution

Not very versatile for sanding trim and backing plates. I think the best option would be: 3M Flexible Foam Abrasive Pad, Aluminum Oxide, 4-1/2" wide, 5-1/2" long, 3/16" thick, Grade FIN (pack of 20). Expensive and hard to find I kept some of these thinner pads and stuck 3M sandblast paper on them and found it better than these sponges.

Pros
  • Sanding Blocks
Cons
  • Not as thick as other sets

Huge time and money savings!

This 3M Sandblasting Sponge really lasts a lot longer and does the job just fine! I used about 20 other medium grit sanding pads (actually I bought others here at Revain) to sand a piano that I repainted and still couldn't finish. I used ONE of these sponges to finish a job in 30 minutes that I struggled with for 3 days! Don't buy sanding pads that come in packs of 4 or so - buy a few packs and get the job done!

Pros
  • Handheld
Cons
  • No power
