📦 3M Wetordry Sandpaper Sheets - Assorted Grit (5-Pack), 9x11 inches, 9088DC-NA Review

Over the years I have tried different types for woodworking and metalworking. 3M is the only brand I know that makes sturdy sandpaper. Will not fall apart when sanded wet or oily. Dirt never flakes off. Festool sandpaper is the only other sandpaper I use now, but they only make discs or sheets for their products.

Requires 400 grit sandpaper. These sheets are cut into 4 pieces 4-1/2" x 5-1/2" for use on some hand sanding blocks. For other blocks, like the 3M block, you will need to cut the strips. I like to use the 120, 400, 1000, 2000 step process to polish metal. Several flitz followed for great results. Edit: I prefer the red sandpaper sheets that 3M makes. They seem to last longer.

Sandpaper is good, I use whole sheets and cut them in half for my 1/2 sheet sander as the 1/2 sheet section is hard to find in my area. My problem is that when I see Assorted I usually think of fine, medium and coarse as what I wanted. But this one has ASSORT FINE reeds, all 3 are ok but different qualities. Not what I wanted. Also the number of sheets per pack is a bit underrated for the price in my opinion.

I couldn't find the 320 grit on my own so had to buy this set. This is good sandpaper. I've used it with oil and water and it's held up pretty well. It's a little different than most sandpapers I've used, it just feels and looks a little different than other types. I'm not a sandpaper expert, so maybe this is normal, who knows. What I do know for sure is that it has worked well for me and I have sharpened steel and had no problems using this paper.
