Description of 🔧 3mirrors TIG Welding Tool: ALUMINUM Tungsten Electrode Sharpener Grinder Head with Cut-Off Slot, Multi-Angle & Offsets, 5X 25mm Double Diamond Wheels, 1X Connecting Rod

Fits most all Rotary Tools with a 3/4-12 thread including Black and Decker, Milwaukee, Bosch Dremel and More! (***Package No Rotary Tool/No Drill Included). This tool will grind 2 sizes tungsten, 2 angles tips for each size. 4 types holes 1/16" (1.6mm) 15°, 1/16" (1.6mm) 20°, 3/32" (2.4mm) 15°, 3/32" (2.4mm) 20°. 15° is 30° when grinded on tips, 20° is 40°. Each type have 3 holes will grind different circle on diamond wheels, will reduce diamond wheels consumption by 2 times. All holes designed to use the same height of diamond wheel. Needn't to set the height again and again. Very easy to install. It is very light and convenient, only 87g. But very strong and precise. All holes are stationary, so we can set an offset compensation for each size hole to make sure all tungsten's tip center is on the grinding center point, this offset can ensure that the lines on the tip of the tungsten electrode are as straight as possible. If the hole position is variable, offset compensation cannot be set. This tool is essential for real professionals. We know welders, so we know what they need.

Garbage isn't worth the money.

Great for new tungsten. Used tungsten that has any defects will not fit through the holes. Also the cut function is a waste. He simply grabs the tungsten and tosses it around the tool. Diamond discs work well so I only use them off the tool.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Minor issues

Feel free to buy this tool

This tool is fantastic. Was skeptical about "tungsten grinder" type tools but decided to take a chance as it was the best option. Attached to the M12 rotary tool and made from tungsten in about 20 minutes. Definitely a great tool if you don't know how to weld like me.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Alright

TIG electrodes do not fit this tool

I tried to fit new 3/32 TIG electrodes in this tungsten grinding head! It was probably made for sharpening TIG electrodes at 20 or 15 degree angles. The TIG electrode doesn't even fit in the holes. They may need to set up milling machines wherever they are made.

Pros
  • Solid finish
Cons
  • Almost never

Very good for sharpening

Tried a dremel last night and sharpened the electrode very well. The only downside I found is that it only grinds 15 or 20 degrees. It's not the 30 degrees I was looking for, but I often don't read descriptions. It took about 10 seconds to sharpen my 1/16th electrode. Came with extra discs which was nice!

Cons

Excellent quality and fits B&D rotary tool, widely available

I wish there was a "little" chamfer on the pilot holes to help guide the tungsten, but it feels uncomfortable. The tool, including Black and Decker's rotary tool, was cheaper and gave better results than $200+ tools. I dedicated B&D exclusively to this head and replaced it with another for other uses. Good product.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Makes perfect skittles every time. It makes me a better welder

I was too lazy to sharpen my tungsten electrodes for TIG welding. I didn't appreciate the effect this had, especially on finer and trickier work. This little tool makes it easy to get a perfectly polished tip every time. I leave it mounted on a cheap HF rotary tool next to the welder. That's great. I'm glad I spent the money on this tool. I think it will last a long time although the wheels will most likely need to be replaced. Very happy with my purchase.

  • great product

  • great price

If you use a bench grinder buy this instead

This thing is great if you currently use a bench grinder then buy this instead of wearing out your wheel for poor results. This thing gets the right angle every time it senses my arc is stabilizing a lot better. I'm not sure how it compares to the super expensive tungsten grinders, but I can't imagine it's going to be as big an upgrade as it was from the benchtop grinder to this one. I only use tungsten 3/32 and have had no problems with holes. I will say that putting the tungsten in the hole…

Should have gotten one a long time ago

Matches my copy of Sears Dremel perfectly, very easy to set up. See the attached photo of a greatly enlarged 3/32 tungsten ignition with this attachment. It only took me 30 years to sharpen mine on a bench grinder before I got one of these. The Tungsten Tungsten fits very snugly into the pilot holes, so any residue on the end of the tungsten alloy must be removed first. I would like more angles and more sizes. It seems a bit overpriced for such a simple device, but still a lot less than some…

Pros
  • Welders and Supplies
Cons
  • Some bugs

Beats a bench grinder with ease

I was skeptical but after trying it I have to say it's definitely a must have. I thought I was pretty good with the grinder, but this thing kills it. Much more stable, faster and much easier... I would recommend using a variable speed tool and run it at low to medium speed and let the tool do the cutting, it requires almost no pressure and after grinding 50+ tungsten alloys there is no wear and tear . on the bike. It's a bit pricey for what it is, but I'm really glad I gave it a try. It takes…
