They are MUCH smaller than the pictures. The whole block is not much wider than a credit card when put together. The packaging seemed flimsy, but after trying it, they packaged WALLOP. Stable, easy to adjust, well made. Stronger than they look.

They are good for closing cupboards or maybe locking doors securely. Being small, I don't think I would recommend them for large, heavy applications like boating or camping. You may need to look for something heavier. Appropriate for small projects.
