had a couple of cans I bought from local shops and some of those baffles were missing. I didn't use the stupid foam padding and they still fit well. They don't have as wide bezels as the factory ones that came with the cans, so I just put them all in the same space and no one will notice the difference. The feathers are great. I'm fine with the dual spring approach, less hassle with those baffles.

I accidentally bought a pack of Canning lamps in HD without bezels from construction companies. I installed them and then realized what I did. I went to the store to buy them and found that the dividers cost the same as a whole pack of contractors. Before I broke down and bought them, I checked Amazon. The price was great and the quality was way better than what I would have bought in HD as they are metal and HD only had plastic. I was very happy with the purchase.

I have replaced the BR30s in one of our rooms with LED downlights that have a decorative ring built into them. When I replaced them with Hue White Ambiance BR30s, I couldn't find the rings that were removed, so I bought them to replace (they were actually cheaper than just rings at the time).
