Convenient Design - my new review

What I like about the design is no matter how much sun the posts get that these go on, you can easily take off the top and place it in the sun all day long. The brightness is average and is more for accent lighting than it is for lighting up an area. Where I have them positioned, they are lit all night long and do not turn off until the sun comes up. Easy to install, but does not last the whole night

Siedinlar Solar Post Cap Lights are easy to install - they come with different adapters and a set of screws. I installed these lights on 5x5 vinyl posts using one of the provided adapters. I did not use provided screws since they were generic metal screws which did not match white color of the posts and lights. In addition, they were too long for vinyl posts. I used instead short white hex screws used to secure gutters.The lights are not overly bright, however bright enough, especially when it…

Love these post toppers

These Are very pretty at night. I like that you have two options for the color of light. They were easy to install and come with fittings where they fit various post sizes.

Excellent solar panel with a rechargeable battery that provides light in two different modes

Prior to purchasing these lights, I had purchased others that were inferior to the Siedinlar quality of brightness, charging, design of the solar panel and the overall design of the lamp. The package provides installation hardware for several size post which in my case was very helpful because I had some 4” by 4” and some 5” by 5” post. I had purchased 8 lamps and the customer service was top notch when I had a minor question.

Look great, bright and last a long time

Best thing about the product is the customer service behind it - I had issues with some yellowing but they replaced my lights - the lights themselves are awesome - they stay on most of the night (honestly not seen them off during the night so they probably last until morning) - are bright and easy to install on a PVC post.

Bright and good looking.

These are actually very easy to install, but I had to give it a 3/5 on that because despite all the adapters that come with it, none of them fit the 5x5 PVC posts where they were being mounted. I was lucky that the 4x4 adapter has holes that match up with the holes in the bases for the lights I was replacing, and I was able to mount the adapter to the old plate. Look good on post - my new review

Only gave 4 because 1 of rechargeable batteries nonworking. I had son install and was easy for him. Would have been difficult if I had to install. You need to drill holes and I would need to get on ladder. I hope they work through winter in the northwest.

I have gotten SO MANY compliments from neighbors and passersby about these solar lamps I installed on my six fence wooden posts! Worked great, but painted to match my deck

Worked fantastic over Trex railing system. Only problem was that the lights are true white while the railing is a softer off white. Took the lights apart and spray painted them with Rustoleum Aged Copper. Perfect compliment to the Saddle colored decking and offset the white of the railing!

They light up my deck steps very nicely!

I bought two of these for the posts on my deck to provide light for the steps. They provided a nice amount of light so I recently bought two more for the other posts. Now I have plenty of light when I go down the steps to take the dogs out at night. They are dependable - lighting up as soon as it starts to get dark. Nice looking and functional!

These look great on our new deck! They are fairly bright and you switch between a brighter white and a softer white depending on your preference. They have several options in which to mount also. They include adapters to fit a wide variety of post sizes. Rechargeable battery is replaceable.

It's safer in the dark.
