These are actually very easy to install, but I had to give it a 3/5 on that because despite all the adapters that come with it, none of them fit the 5x5 PVC posts where they were being mounted. I was lucky that the 4x4 adapter has holes that match up with the holes in the bases for the lights I was replacing, and I was able to mount the adapter to the old plate. Other than that, these are great. Much brighter than the old solar post lights I was replacing, and I like that they are glass, so they won't get hazy over time like my old ones did. We haven't had any rain since I installed them, so I can't accurately rate their weatherproofing.
