They fit perfectly, the hole in the foil goes to the edge of the hole on my gas stove. And therein lies the problem. With a strong flame (e.g. when boiling water), the flame reaches the bottom of the pan and spreads to the sides, touching the rim of the burner hole. That's not a problem for my blast furnace steel. It is difficult to make universal inserts for gas burners. I really don't understand why most ovens are not standard size. It's like trying to convince yourself with one sock that you need two and none of the others fit. Well worth it for that, the price is decent - quite a lot of earbuds for the price.
