They fit perfectly, the hole in the foil goes to the edge of the hole on my gas stove. And therein lies the problem. With a strong flame (e.g. when boiling water), the flame reaches the bottom of the pan and spreads to the sides, touching the rim of the burner hole. That's not a problem for my blast furnace steel. But that's a problem for aluminum; it is heated red-hot and decomposes into alumina. To prevent this I need to trim them to increase the size of the hole. If this were a permanent ship I would deduct a star for the inconvenience. But they're disposable, which is why I'm deducting two stars as I have to do this every time I change one (and the whole point of this product is to be comfortable). I encourage them to offer a second, slimmed down version for those who encounter this problem.
