So many inaccuracies, it's not even funny

Inaccurate. Base - any. But everyone who does is interested in architecture and history. And there are too many bugs here to even list. The years are wrong. The buildings are wrong. The names are wrong. Yes I am sure. I lived there for twenty years in the care of an architect and historian. I want my money back. And my time

Better than Chicago!

We have already ordered in New York, London and Chicago. Chicago was the worst. It literally took us a year because we gave up so many times. I was hesitant to order another one but my son wanted one for his birthday. I'm happy to report that there were many more opportunities in Washington DC than in Chicago. We finished it in a month, working bit by bit here and there. It just fitted better. It was the right level of difficulty for our family, not too hard and not too easy. I recommend this…

Happy puzzling

I'm not a puzzle fan. This is the first thing I did as an adult and it was really fun. This is a 4D puzzle. This one from Washington, DC has an 1864 DC underlayer. The second layer, which is a bit spongy, is DC flow. 3rd layer - building. You place them into the puzzle as you build them. It was a lot of fun and I really learned something. The fourth "level" is the timeline. Timeline ends at 2007, so MLK Memorial and African American Museum are not included. The only downside was that all the…

really good puzzle: Puzzles

This is amazing. If you want to play around with the puzzle you can find as a challenge, it's listed. Because it has a high level of difficulty due to the similarity of the puzzle pieces that match the first layer. On the second layer you will also see the cityscape in more detail, this layer is made of foam which makes this puzzle better and allows you to place buildings which are the third layer and in my opinion this is one of the most interesting facts about this game. I really recommend it

Puzzle Making Revisited

My son went to DC last spring in the 5th grade and loved the city. Therefore, he was very happy to receive this puzzle as a gift. My husband, son and I worked on this together for 3 or 4 days and while I wouldn't say it's an 'easy' puzzle, it was a fun time together. The pieces are made from thick foam, and instead of gluing the pieces together (because the pieces themselves are almost entirely made up of just two different shapes), they're made from a printed map so you know where to put the…

Buy it but meet your expectations

Enjoy, especially if you live in Washington DC. would probably work well in class as well). If you read other reviews, you will find that some people don't like the individual layers, others opened all the pieces packages before assembling, etc. Two points if you buy this puzzle: read the instructions; but also know how you want to build: if finding parts is part of the fun, you may well mix two bags. Just be aware that you are purchasing a multi-layer puzzle. What does that mean? There are two
