Buy it but meet your expectations

Enjoy, especially if you live in Washington DC. would probably work well in class as well). If you read other reviews, you will find that some people don't like the individual layers, others opened all the pieces packages before assembling, etc. Two points if you buy this puzzle: read the instructions; but also know how you want to build: if finding parts is part of the fun, you may well mix two bags. Just be aware that you are purchasing a multi-layer puzzle. What does that mean? There are two layers, one with "regular" puzzle strength that forms the base, and then a second layer with a foam backing into which the 3D buildings are inserted. Essentially, you're putting two identical puzzles together (although there are minor differences). Also note that most pieces are similar (nearly the same) in shape - this is a personal choice. You are forced to focus on the map provided, which is an 'image' - which would be a cover for 'normal' puzzles. Much more concerned about the quality of the puzzle. The second layer was not completely cut through. In addition, the first and second layers did not match exactly; The second layer was almost 1/8 inch larger than the first so the cut out images were misaligned. On the second level, the cutouts for the buildings didn't match the printed outlines of the buildings, making the finished product look "fake" - I expected more from a product at this price point. This is not a Ravensburger and not museum quality. This company still has a lot of work to do to mature and further develop their product. Bottom line: Fun, educational, and worth the price, but manage your expectations so you know what you're getting.
