Air dry these socks

These socks are good all year round. I must say that I have learned not to tumble dry them as this greatly reduces their lifespan. I have air dried this set of socks since purchasing them and after 11 months they still look brand new.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Extremely comfortable, the best wool socks

Very comfortable and warm. They don't collect fluff, hair and fluff on the outside of the socks when you wear them like other wool socks usually do. I thought they were a bit bigger but they only cover my ankles.

Pros
  • Practical item
Cons
  • Safety

One of the few wool socks with shoe size

Small man (7-7.5) I'm struggling to find a sock that doesn't fit my ankle (or calf haha), a bit pricey, but when you need bigger socks than small (1-8) and big 8-20. They are perfect, my feet are happy.

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Small stuff

Comfortable but not the most durable

These are some of the most comfortable socks I've ever had. I took her to the New Mexico desert and I'm not sure I could have done without her. However, I've had them for less than a month and one already has a hole while the other is a bit worn. Maybe I just got a bad pair or stepped on something weird, but the quality may not be the best.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Ok

Comparable to Smart Wool

Love them. As good as any wool socks you can buy including the Smart Wool brand twice the price, comfortable and durable. I live in the south and use them about 8 months a year (too hot for an Alabama summer). Also the only sock I wear when hiking. When hiking, you can't beat a good quality wool sock. No blisters, EVER. Also important, "Made in the USA" is my hometown of Brooklyn.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Best hiking socks!

These are the best hiking socks! I put on a half size in my hiking boots to accommodate their thickness. No sweaty feet. No blisters after hiking 100+ miles in the Alps when I first put them on. I wear women's shoes in size 10.5 and the small sock fits perfectly. They have survived many kilometers of hiking very well for two years. I won't wear anything else. Totally worth $$.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons

Perfect fit, good value for money.

I have a small leg for a man, size 8-8.5, and I usually have to buy women's socks because men's socks are too long. I bought "small/medium" and they fit perfectly! These will be my hiking/trekking socks as wool is better than cotton and the color hides the dirt that usually makes my white cotton socks look like I've hiked for weeks and only walked about a mile.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Vulgarity

A bit roomy for little feet but worth it.

I ordered these socks for hiking/winter and they are very comfortable, especially in the toe area. Being small, socks are better for my short legs. I usually wear a size 6.5 and the S/M size is a bit roomy. You can see in the photo they are a little baggy around my heel but not enough to bother me. If you need very thick socks and have small feet, they can disappoint. Can't beat the price for four pairs of wool socks so overall I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend them!

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Modern

Would I buy again for men

We are new to the mountaineering world. So this is my first experience with wool socks. I bought them because the price of similar socks at one of my local outdoor stores was half that AND because I liked their height. below the ankle so they don't look too silly but still high enough to work with boots. They're great for hiking, from short day trips to killer multi-day trips. They are very comfortable and soft yet durable. They were a little hot but I thought maybe and it wasn't unbearable. My

Pros
  • Excellent construction

  • Crumpled packaging
