🧤 5.11 High Abrasion Tac Glove: Military Full Finger Tactical Gloves, Style 59371 Review

I've tried several different gloves like this one from Mechanix Wear and they've always failed within a very short time. These gloves (as well as other 5.11 items I own) proved bulletproof by comparison.

These gloves have proven to be very good for the job. I am self employed in the security/law enforcement industry. These gloves help me a lot in the various daily activities I do at work. However, they are not the best for extremely cold weather. I am happy with my purchase!

Love the gloves. They fit well and do not impair dexterity. very friendly with firearms. They're not good for keeping you warm, but design wise they do a reasonable job (no need to test them below 20 degrees Fahrenheit). I will definitely buy again.

Although my Taurus G3C has an aggressive grip texture (as any gun owner will attest), the gun slipped out of my hand when firing, even with a tight grip. These gloves are comfortable and probably good for wearing in cold weather, but definitely NOT FOR SHOOTING. This is most likely due to the very odd choice of ultra-smooth fabric on the palms and fingers. 5.11 had to take the rubber from the back of the gloves and put it on the grip. Very stupid design choice.

I've waited almost a year to test these gloves. These are the best work gloves I have ever owned and they are indistinguishable from any other type/brand/style of gloves. When you're doing rough things with your own hands, no glove lasts forever. If you can find a glove that really lasts, that just means you're either a wimp or you can't/can't use it for everything. These gloves are worth every penny, every other glove is basically disposable compared to these. Take this seriously.

I've had good luck with Station 5:11 gloves in the past. I love these gloves too. Fit is great. I carry the medium. I don't have big hands. I use gloves almost every day. They are very comfortable. they hold up well. The claims against them are few, but you'll notice from the photo that the tape that helps put the gloves on has come loose from the glove. It also started to crumble. I had to burn the end to prevent further wear. There was disappointment. I've had a lot of pants since 5:11 too…

I finally found tactical gloves that fit me perfectly. These things aren't too bulky and have enough room for my fingers. That makes them good shooting gloves. I give them 4 stars instead of 5 for 2 reasons. 1) There's really nothing special about them, I don't understand why they cost $20 when they should be in the $15 range. I was looking for a set of motorcycle gloves and came across them on a motorcycle forum. People said they run small so I bought a 2XL pair. Surprise! They're not small, but I prefer wearing gloves that aren't skin tight. Ironically they seem made more for Pew Pew going things but from a motorcycling standpoint they have great grip and agility.
