5.11 Tactical 1.5" Leather 4X-Large Men's Accessories Review

Good stiff gun belt but not too thick. But its synthetic stock requires a leather/synthetic/leather combination, and the stitching that holds it together is unraveling, especially with the metal IWB holster clips. I had to reinforce the seams several times. Good closure. This can take several years for a dedicated user. Due to the rather poor quality of the fastening thread, this belt is not intended for rough use in muddy conditions.

I bought two, one black and one brown. The brown trim on the belt is worn from the leather. This belt has not been worn much and the black one shows no wear to the end. It looks like an old belt and wasn't that old after the coating wore off. Since then I have purchased other tactical belts from our manufacturers that have seen little to no wear.

Fits well, thick and durable leather. I don't have much faith in the buckle. It seems pretty cheap and a bit flimsy for a duty belt. If you like your belt pulled taut so it doesn't slip off, I'm sure the buckle will snap in less than a year, especially if you're active and in law enforcement.

I purchased the brown version of this belt and since receiving it this belt has had an extremely strong chemical smell. I tried hanging the strap in the garage to "air out" but the smell lingered. I have given up and will now buy directly from 5.11.

Tired of straps that don't last long look terrible after a few uses. However, this belt remains without losing its appearance and design. Something that really lasts, you know. Just a pity I had to buy a gun belt to get one that lasts.

This belt is definitely worth the money. This is the first legal sling I've bought and I can't get enough of it. It is a good quality leather, very sturdy and supports my holster very well.

Exactly what I was looking for in a carry strap for everyday use. More than durable enough to wear all day, every day, the G19 is comfortable and pairs well with most clothing options. Works well with IWB and OWB.

These belts are great for carrying firearms and magazines. The tough yet flexible interior ensures your belt won't sag and your holster and mag pouch will stay where you put them. I have used these straps for several years even when not carrying a firearm.

I have 12 concealed carry straps but 11 went in a spare EDC box :) after purchasing the 511 strap. Leather and hard core is the perfect combination for me and holds all my firearms with ease.

5.11 products tend to be well made and cater to a specific audience, this belt is a good example. It was a Christmas present and the joy on my friend's face when he saw the belt and smelled the high quality leather made my day unforgettable! I will continue to invest in 5.11

I usually wear 30 inches so I choose size S which is 28-30 inches. Once I received the item I can't even wear it because it's too short for me. waste of time. We are currently working on the return and refund process.

I ended up sending this belt back. Fit and finish looked good. But over time, the skin scratched and cracked. Not leather but looks very nice and can be worn every day. Various color schemes and you can wear it to almost any occasion. From everyday life to a suit.

This is my second belt. my old one doesn't fit (small), it's a little big for me, so I gave it to my brother. great belt. I do what it's supposed to do.

Definitely not as thick as the version bought from Gander Mtn a few years ago. Much more malleable. The other was tough compared to him. Only time will tell if it will last as long with regular use.

I bought this belt 5.11 over a year ago for everyday use both to work and outing. I couldn't be happier. It is well made and still looks like new. Very strong and beautiful. In fact, it's probably the best belt I've ever had. I don't expect them to wear out for at least 5+ years, but I hope they're still making them when the time comes because I'll definitely be buying another one.

This is the second belt I own. They are very durable and hold their shape well. The first lasted 5 years. I actually still use it from time to time, but it's showing some wear and tear from my EDC items.

Very durable. I use it at work, at the shooting range and on the road. Nice strong belt. It has a gusset to keep it from sagging. Make sure the 2 screws are tight. Sometimes I use black shoe polish. They last for years! Worth the price.

My last 5.11 tactical sling lasted 6 or 7 years before the stitching started to fray and fray. It was an amazing belt. I didn't hesitate to replace it with the exact same strap. However, this new belt didn't even last a month before falling apart. After 3 months it was completely unusable. Even the plastic core is cracked. The quality has deteriorated drastically. For a $60 belt, that's ridiculous. I carried with me maybe 3 or 4 times in the first month. I would not recommend this belt to…
