I love this shirt. I wear black with pants or jeans almost every day. He wears any pants you wear him with. It is very durable and holds up well to the big boys. It's not a soft fabric, it's thicker but not too heavy to wear in summer. Two stars because of the fabric. It's soft, comfortable and I love the fit. I wear it open to work and it covers the gear I wear on my belt very well. The missing three stars refer to the quality. I've been wearing these polos for a while now and they've lasted for years. This new version was clearly created by someone else. Buying a 5.11 shirt seemed like an easy task. I've worn various pieces from them for years and still wear some that are >10 years old. However, this won't be worn for more than the 30 seconds it takes to realize you can see through. I wear a thin white tank top underneath all my shirts and you can still see through this shirt. The shirt fits. Just like every other 5.11 shirt I own - I'm the same size on all of them so I'm not sure what happened to the guy who said he had a sizing issue. They are very standardized throughout their line. Anyway, I couldn't tell from the pictures, but this model is a knitted version of the polo with short sleeves. If you want a cotton jersey polo, this isn't it. Jersey material so I'll probably order more of these later. Knitted ones are too hot for me in summer.

Five stars with few exceptions. I wasn't expecting to see this shirt. I thought it was the lighter weight fabric shown in the first photo. I specifically wanted this version because I think it looks better. But apparently it's the same model number. Excellent t-shirts. So why 4 instead of 5 stars? Well, very rarely do they send you a shirt with a weird collar. I bought about 15 of these shirts and two of them had a lower collar. I almost didn't order anything after receiving shirts with bad collars, but I liked them so much I took a chance. My last two shirts had a quality collar. I love these shirts!
