Arduino Beginner Instructions

I subtracted one star because it comes with absolutely no documentation. The lights otherwise function as I expect them to.I am a beginner and used an Arduino Uno via usb power to drive them. I had to follow these steps to make these work properly:1: Find the side of the cable to connect to. Stranger Things best in my review

I have purchased three strands now, and they work GREAT. No dead LEDs, and behave exactly as advertised. I got the 12V version, and plugged two strands together on one 12V 5A power supply. I connected both to a FadeCandy board. Originally, I only connected to 1 position, and I thought there was a problem with the lights, because only the first 14 lights on the second strand lit. Then I realized the FadeCandy can only light 64 at a time at each position, and since 64-50 is 14. Once I connected…

Just add WLED on an ESP

A great lot at a great price. There is certainly a wonderful foreign oder that comes with these, but that is the worst part. Using some Panduit and cable mounts I was able to keep the install simple, and generally clean.I paired with an ESP8266, Logic Converter, Buck Converter, and a 12 Volt power supply for the hardware, this has made for a fun addition to the house.These LED’s are quite bright, and seem to have quite the range of color. I’m quite pleased with this product.

I bought a single 50 light segment to see how it would work with my Arduino uno. The experiment was a success!The quality of these lights was good, and I like how each light is encapsulated in a clear weather-proof plastic guard. Work well except around significant wiring

Did everything as advertised, came well packed and quickly.Have only noticed one problem, when it is near EMI generating wiring, sometimes it's falsely triggers and lights come on when they should not.Otherwise great.

Can’t string light without It looking like a poor unsightly wiring job. Only good for projects where the wiring is concealed.
