I bought this to run a bunch of LED strips off my PC and on the underside of my desk . In fact, the cables work great and the white connectors are complete junk. The inner pins don't make good contact with the LED strips and therefore either lose power or the RGB signal, although they all appear to be touching. After installing the LEDs on my desk for about 6 months, I had to constantly push, match, swap, or constantly push the white leads to get a full RGB signal through my LED circuit…

My soldering skills are limited to say the least ;). The last time I worked with LEDs I damaged a few because I wanted to save money and decided to solder the lights instead of the terminals. This time I went with them and you can't dispute the results. I was able to light my desk the way I intended. Btw I didn't even want to write a review on them as I thought they were the best you can get for the price but I saw a few reviews saying they don't work with waterproof LEDs. This is incorrect. As

Do not purchase this kit unless you have a soldering iron. As the 4 wire cable was already cut I was about to do some soldering but there are no extra 4 pin sockets in the kit so I had to cut the ends of the clips off the shorter jumpers and solder them to the ends my extension cord. I also covered my solder joints with heat shrink tubing and if you don't already have that gear on hand I wouldn't recommend this kit. Next, the clip connection concept is a joke.
