WILL NOT FIT 2020 EXPLORER

Will NOT FIT 2020 Ford Explorer! My taillights have an 8 pin connector but this one has a 6 pin! The photos show an 8 pin connector but I have a 6 pin piece of long cable! How difficult can it be to include the right product in an ad?

Easy install and great performance

Easy install and great performance. The hardest part was stretching the power cable to the battery. Next time I install something like this I'll go to my friends store and use a hydraulic lift to work under the car.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Good but not the best

easy installation. a little problem.

Delivery was quick and installation was a breeze. The only problem with the kit is that the green wire that goes to the right taillight connector isn't long enough. Add just two feet and this product is top notch.

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Always works best with Tow Bar Accessories

This was the second time I have used this kit. Installs very quickly as it connects to an existing wiring harness. However, the kit did not include a power cable spool, which was required for routing to the battery. I had a line but that would cause unnecessary delays if I didn't have a backup.

Pros
  • Hands Free Control
Cons
  • Volume

Very easy to install

I haven't used it yet so I can't say it works perfectly but I have no doubt it will work well. Installation was incredibly easy. For people who have never installed a car amp or exterior lights, the hardest part might be routing the battery power cable and making a ground connection, but there are plenty of YouTube videos that will help with this.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Easy maintainability

Basically plug and play.

Good: Plug and play with wiring harness connectors. Splicing is not required. The box is small enough to fit between body and trunk trim. High-quality fastening material. The wiring of the trailer is very long. Unloved: The need to lay a special power line from the battery to the control unit. I don't know why headlights can't be powered with wire harnesses. Double-sided mounting tape is weak. Doesn't stick to the control box, you need to use another tape to fix it.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • No
