Good value for money

One of the easiest ways to increase power without getting inside the engine. It was a worthy task for a beginner, but anyone with the basic tools and a little determination can really pull it off. The instructions were pretty good and I really appreciated the fact that they included a dynamometer chart that backed up the claim that they added 18 horsepower.

Cons
  • The list will be long.

I have installed several K&N products over the past 25 years. Most are very easy. It took a little longer, probably due to multiple vehicle uses, but the instructions that came with the kit do not clearly state which parts are used on which vehicle. So I had to guess and test a few adjustments to see if it worked or not. Happy with the final setup! The car feels happier!

Sounds good and improves performance.

My mechanic installed it on my 1995 Z28 Camaro. I can notice the throttle response and it almost sounds like one of my old Dual Holleys when I open it up. After installation he called me to find out where the real filter was. The filter is set so low that you CANNOT walk through deep puddles or standing water or risk sucking water into the engine and that's never a good thing. The bottom of this filter sits just above the plastic bowl. But that's where it needs to be to suck in cool air. This…
