Good size for tight spaces

This little sensor was needed because my mobile blinds didn't leave much space. Not someone to trust foam tape, I added a #1 screw for the battery and two #2 screws for the magnet. Add a piece of tape between the #1 screw and the battery, but this probably isn't needed. Although this sensor is very light, I installed a sensor that rests on the opening edge of the wing.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No instructions

many of these are defective

I bought 23 of these 5800 mini sensors when I installed them, 9 of them don't work. To get ready I have to go into programming mode and exit *99 to return to ready mode. I've been installing Homeywell for 16 years now and I've never had any problems like this. This is the first time I install them with problems. I've never had a problem with the 5814 sensors they discontinued, they work great. I've been installing 5814 for years and never had such problems.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I will add later

Great price and they sync up perfectly with ADT's L7000

Great price and they sync up perfectly with ADT's L7000. No need to call them, and you can install them yourself if you don't have Pulse. In this case, you have to add sensors manually in order for them to appear in the app. However, the home unit recognizes them perfectly, and you can avoid additional installation costs by doing it yourself. Pretty simple and worked the first time. Much smaller and with LED indicators, they are easy to set up in the right place. The only disadvantage. costs…

Pros
  • Best in their niche
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Tested with Home Assistant

I configured and tested this sensor with Home Assistant using rtl_433 on a custom frequency. Although I managed to get it working, the lack of information about a product using a completely different frequency (345MHz) in the product description would be very helpful. The size is perfect for what I need and the reporting works correctly. but I need 433.920MHz. The closest I've found is the DSC EV-DW4975. This sensor replaces VERSA-DSC, which would be ideal. I was able to find an EV-DW4975 DSC…
