Don't waste your money on this

Junk - Bought 4 packs of 3" for a detailed polish on my boat. In an hour, all four passes of Velcro flew away. On closer inspection, the Velcro is just a thin fabric that's lightly glued to the wearer.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Good but not great

The only pad you need to apply gelcoat.

Extremely good on gelcoat with 3M compound and glaze. One pass with the wool pad and polish, then several passes with the new pad and 3M glaze and your boat is a mirror. No 32 step foam pads, just buy them.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

A quality pillow justifies the price.

I didn't want to buy it because of the cost. Since I can use it to polish stainless steel/aluminum, I'm surprised at how well it can handle something it was never intended for. The pads are exceptionally well made with densely packed fibers that are still soft to the touch. I'm always willing to pay a fair price for a quality product.

  • GOLS certificate

  • Some cons

Don't worry about fibers

Use them on my 22ft boat in small areas. As everyone says, you must first dismantle them and remove all the lost fibers. First one I used, the velcro pad detached from the lining and it flew so I stuck it back on, haven't tried it yet, we'll see. I received 5 packs, so I put on another one and everything is fine. It's exactly what I need

Pros
  • Loads of positive vibes
Cons
  • Long delivery time

They don't last even for a short time

I use a high-end orbital buffer at low speeds to improve my vehicles. I decided to try these pads because wool is wool and the price seemed reasonable. But what a disappointment in terms of durability. The adhesive backing attached to the buffer wheel with Velcro is NOT durable. I literally went through 4 pads for ONE SUV. I didn't use high speed and didn't spend a lot of time in one area. However, it seems that the slightest amount of heat generated on the pad will cause the backing to crack…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Good replacement for Milwaukee wool pads

I only needed a wool pad (no foam) to replace the one that came with my #2438 Milwaukee Buffer. As far as I could tell they met that and performed just as well in polishing (furniture finishing). The flat bottom of the Velcro was slightly smaller in diameter than my hook attachment pad. Pressing down on the wool pad bonded it well and would have worked fine, but as I planned on continuing to use these buffers I just ran the tool with the black mounting pad and lightly pressed it against a disc…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • unreliable
