Cuts like butter

I've heard that linoleum is difficult to cut when it's cold. Well my house is freezing now but I had no problem carving this block. Cuts well and easily, good price. I'm quite a beginner though, so I don't have anything to compare and I haven't made any prints yet.

As advertised -

This is great! I thought they were a little bigger. But I measured them and they fit the listed size. They were individually wrapped which is nice too. Protects them from damaging each other's surfaces during transportation. It came in a standard USPS plastic bag, which wasn't a problem for me, but was easily damaged if dropped.

Pros
  • Bump and Block Media
Cons
  • Disappear

Try something different.

It's not what I thought. It is much more brittle and resembles brown-colored linoleum, which is just as hard. I actually hurt my wrist cutting hard linoleum and found that JACK RICHESON's "Easy-to-Cut" quality is actually the best. It will hold your image (doesn't peel off like the school version) and prints crisp, just as good as other hard materials, but without the pain!

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • Some little things
