Joke: What has strong & permanent magnets ? NOT THESE VICE JAW PADS !

The first time I put them on my vice, ond of the thin & weak magnets came away from these pads ! The pads themselves aren't half bad but to call these magnets strong is a patheic joke. Buyer beware.

Does the job for my opinion

These soft jaws are possibly a bit too soft if that's possible. I've been using this set for a few months and while they definitely protect the workpiece in the vise, they don't seem to be holding up as well as I thought they would and I've had to re-glue all 4 magnets at different times using CA glue to keep them in place. I'll definitely have to replace this product in the near future but it has done the job I needed it to do for the past few months.

Work really well good for me

These jaw covers are exactly what I need for protecting fragile materials in my bench vise. The magnets hold firmly to the jaws and the urethane plastic is just the right stiffness to hold firmly but not mar.This was a good purchase, and a good value.

Well made, on the soft side, not ideal to grip very small items

These are well made and do exactly what they're supposed to do.These are on the soft side even for soft jaws - you can flex them pretty easily with your hands, and they won't grip very small things firmly (because they just deform around them). Depending on what you're planning to do with them, this may be good or bad.

Great Protection, Great Magnets

I wasn't sure I would like these, but I DO! The magnets are nice and strong and the durometer feels great. I am not worried about marring things in my vise. I cut them down to 5 inches to fit my vise. (Very easy) I would definitely buy again and highly recommend.

Good to protect what u work on

Good product magnet did come out on one piece used Crazy to put back little longer than my vise but little surgery and was perfect

Good for delicate work, but not much else.

These jaws look nice but they are too soft. They should work fine if you do not need much force to hold onto your work, but they deform and push out of the vice before any meaningful pressure can be applied to the work. A hard back would likely solve this while retaining the soft working face.

Works Perfectly: my feedback

I purchased this product so that I could place my chainsaw in my bench vice and sharpen the blades. It works perfectly for that purpose. In addition, the magnets are very strong, and the soft jaws do not slip. I recommend this product and would buy it again. A solid value!

  • Bought this for my 4.5" vise, so it's a bit wider, but can be cut down if that matters to you
