We have spent almost 4 times as much at Best Buy for the exact same product. I'm so, so glad we found this and decided to order it (we were a bit hesitant because of the low price). It was easy for my husband to hang on to and has been great for us ever since.

For TVs under 50lbs

If you're hanging something heavier than 50lbs, choose a more durable option. The bracket is dated and you need a long screwdriver to tighten the brackets once they are wall mounted for stability, unlike other brackets that have tabs for easy raising and lowering. It's not like this.

This mount works well with a 40 inch flat screen I .

This mount works well with the 40 inch flat screen I have installed. No problem with wall mounting. The only downside is that after installing the TV, there is not enough free space behind the TV to connect the cables. Need at least an inch clearance from the wall, at least for the TV I have. Another solution would be to attach the board to the wall and then attach the bracket to the board. I will do that whenever I have the ambition to do so.

The mountain itself - 10! The hardware is pathetic.

Self assembly including the post that bolts to the wall and the levers including the cord holder all good/excellent. The problem is that there isn't enough hardware included in the kit, like the most popular TVs. So unless you have a home depot bucket filled with assorted screws and gaskets, I would consider something else. If they doubled down on the mounting bolt options and replaced the clamp bolts with something stronger, this would be my mount every time.

The tilt feature is awkward to use, but it works.

Good price. Installing my 55 inch TV was pretty easy. I got this one because I wanted to be sure I could screw it to two separate studs that could be 16" or 24" apart (US standard). Turns out my wall joists are 16 inches wide. So if you have a big TV and are on a budget, this works great. You have to use the spike finder to avoid destroying the wall. A skillful person can install this TV mount in a short time. ***Also make sure you connect the cables first as there is no room for them once…
