K&N 63-1125 Performance Intake Kit for Harley Davidson, Black Review

The intake is excellent. Ease of installation. The only issue I had was that it had to have 3 flat 8mm stainless steel washers. I received 2 c and a lock washer. Luckily I had spares in my tool box. Otherwise love it

I use K&N air intakes on all my cars. No complaints and always a noticeable difference in performance. The instructions didn't describe my bike model very well, but a quick YouTube search turned up nothing.

Got it for almost $100 less than K&N asked for it. Looks great, was easy to assemble, very easy. I wish it came with a rain cover, but oh well, with the money saved, I can get by with another $15. Highly recommended.

Excellent choice for replacing a GEEZER-GLIDE airbox on a Harley. Easy installation and I discovered an additional unadvertised BONUS BENEFITS for those of us who prefer the BIG side. Much more leg room and better ability to compress the tank when running on twisty, highly motivated roads.

Good looking and in need of bike tuning (as expected). I autotune and tune to my liking, not dyno. I'm sure the performance has improved numerically, but you won't notice any difference while driving. 5 stars because I got the look I wanted, probably improved performance, and made installation easier.

Looks ok out of the box but the build quality was terrible both inside and out. I removed the roughness on the ID's surface with a porting and polishing kit. Outside everything was just as bad, the finish "as cast" and cheaply painted. I removed the rough surface, etched with a primer and finished with a gloss varnish and then finished with a clear varnish.

Installed this air intake on my wife's 2013 Fat Boy Lo. It works great and looks great. It really goes with the look of the bike. Only criticism is that my wife can't reach the engine guard on the right side to put her foot in because it sticks out too far. Guess we'll have to get her some road pegs to secure her to the engine guard. Very easy to put on and looks great. I would prefer this move to the similar Screaming Eagle move.
