Beautiful inlet

Nice air intake, easy to install. Better than the stock shot on my Sportsster. For the price, I would have expected the chrome elbow to be a little heavier, but it's fairly thin metal and light. In my opinion it's overpriced for what you actually get, but once installed I'm satisfied.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • OK

Costs money. for parts

At first I was a little annoyed by the 90 degree tube that looks like chrome plated plastic, but then I realized it doesn't conduct heat and my foot stays much cooler. The general characteristics of my Harley 1200T immediately struck me. The only thing that would sweeten the pot would be if it came with a pre-filter lid.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Hard to say

poor quality for ram air kit

As you probably know, K&N performance products have been around for a long time and all of their products are expensive. I'm buying a 63-1126p intake kit for my 2009 Harley Sportster 1200, delivery time was ok, about a week. When I opened it up I found that the chrome intake manifold had deep machining lines or gouges that could be described as ridges showing through the chrome. I contacted k&n, they asked me to send pictures, which I did, after our discussion I was told they would send another

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Negative impression
