Based on our own experience, this fuel system upgrade has significantly enhanced the performance of our high-performance boat. The increased fuel efficiency and power output are truly impressive. The installation process was straightforward, and the system is easy to maintain. The only drawback is the higher cost compared to other fuel system upgrades on the market.

Many 93-06 Mercs use the same power heads and additional components as the Yamaha, especially on the smaller engines. Mercury no longer manufactures diaphragms or parts for this model's fuel pumps. An OEM replacement costs over $100 from Merc. Upon inspection, it looked like a matchstick. Installed and works as it is now. I've only made it 2 hours so far, but so far so good. Durability time will tell but at 1/4-1/3 the cost of the OEM ID they say it's worth it.

This fixed my Mercury 9.9hp 4 stroke outboard. A 2002 model that went offline in the middle of a lake. At least a few presses on the primer bulb brought me back to shore. My 14 year old had a hardened diaphragm from being in petrol for years in EtOh and nobody sells replacement diaphragms for them anymore, they just assume you are buying everything new which is a shame because they are very easy to fix or to replace would only be the rubber membrane inside for a few dollars.
