Maximize Horsepower with the K&N Cold Air Intake Kit for INFINITI G35 (2003-2006) Review

You can definitely hear the air intake sucking in air and getting louder as the RPM goes up and looks really cool and performance wise I think you can spot the difference in the throttle valve. Answer, but it's not a big difference in performance, but I totally justified my money

This Air Intake is Amazing! I removed my old air intake and installed the new one in my G35 within an hour or so. I can tell a big difference in horsepower and torque when I step on it, especially at mid to high rpm. One of the best things I've ever bought for my car and I recommend it to everyone!

You can't go wrong with K&N! Although expensive on the secondary market, they are worth the money! looks great under the hood and has removed a few pieces of plastic that made up the bearing mount. Definitely added more power and even has a turbo-like hiss at the end of each speed change.

I was a bit embarrassed to buy this air intake but installation was quick and easy and took about an hour. You can hear the air intake sucking in air as your rpm increases and I noticed better gas mileage. My car pulls away much quicker and I can feel the power increase as I rev higher. In general I like it.

This air intake exceeded my expectations. I feel an increase in performance, the sound is incredible. SO LOUD. I was scared, my two brothers, my father, my cousin, all my friends and some old man who rides a bike hahaha. I also see my RPM drop at 55 mph (state speed limit) by about 200 rpm which is quite nice. So it definitely saves gas too, which is pretty nice. Overall I like this item and for the price. not that bad. -God bless

Installed on my 04 G35 6 M/T. I was hesitant at first because most people recommended Injen. I'm glad I followed my intuition. Installation took a little over an hour. The car started to step on the gas faster and I noticed an increase in power. You can hear this air intake working as your RPMs start to increase and it sounds amazing. The instruction is short and even a beginner with no experience can easily install it. I would recommend this product to everyone.

Decent inlet kit although a tune is required despite what some may say. Without them, my g35 was idling, causing it to overheat on several occasions. If you're looking to upgrade the vq35's air intake, I would recommend the Stillen Z-Pipe, which uses the stock air intake configuration (which is actually quite complex) that you'd otherwise throw away at K&N. Also, before you make a compulsive purchase and possibly damage your car, talk to the guys on the 350/g35 forums.
